SMART TOP COMPUTER IT DESKING SOLUTIONS

The Smart Top Screen Desk was designed following a growing requirement for elements of security to be added to standard PC workstations. Already an award winner, this exciting new desk solution integrates industry standard flat screen PCs into the design of the desk. The compact ‘Smart Top’ design allows you to securely fit one computer for every user. It has an innovative, patented mechanism, which quickly folds the monitor, keyboard and mouse into the desk where it can be locked away to provide a completely clear worktop when the computer isn't needed, making the desk dual purpose.

The single Smart Top computer desk can be manufactured in two sizes, 900mm and 1200mm in length with a depth of 600mm. Most makes of flat screens will be accommodated ranging from 16” to 19”. A hardware survey will be carried out prior to any order being accepted to ensure suitability.

Once unlocked, a simple release catch opens the top to reveal the screen, keyboard and mouse ready for use. The same key will lock both the top and the metal
computer box. A secure metal bar will prevent the computer unit from being taken out even if the metal box is left open.

Dual purpose-the screen, keyboard and mouse are locked away securely, leaving a clear work surface for paper based studies. The computer tower is also locked away securely to prevent any unwanted access.

The smart top mechanism can be integrated into many different sizes and shapes of desks giving flexibility in design and space. The teacher’s mobile unit provides an alternative station for teachers. Fitted with 1 pullout shelf and 3 fixed shelves, it provides ample storage whilst the top shelf can accommodate either a laptop or projector. Fully lockable.

For laptop users, the mechanism has been adapted to offer 2 power sockets and a network data point allowing teachers to plug in their laptop. The desktop can also be closed and locked securely leaving the laptop inside to charge-up.

Where space is at a premium, the twin Smart Top is the ideal solution, saving both space and cost. These can be configured in rows or back-to-back.

For primary schools, a lower Smart Top desk has been designed to allow younger children easy access to the IT.

An electrical height adjustable frame can be fitted to any shapes and sizes of desk top. Ranging from 660mm to 900mm in height, this is particularly suitable for wheelchair users.

There is a 12 month guarantee on locks and mechanisms and a 3 year guarantee on frame top and back panel.
